Rogue is one of three base classes available to players starting the game, the other two being Warrior and Mage. This default class may not be changed by normal means; rather, one must give Dragon Coins to B.M. Moglin to switch their base class to another.

This armor has three, mostly cosmetic, variants: Retro Rogue, Shadow Rogue, and Ancient Shadow Rogue. The election of Rogue also enables the player to wear the DragonRogue and Cryptic classes if certain requirements are met.
