DragonLord is one who, through the power of the Dragon Amulet, has bonded with a Dragon, and is elligible to join their elite order. Players who have purchased the amulet can obtain this class and train its skills at Sunbreeze Grove with Lady Celestia or her mentee Elysia, or those of the DragonRider armor, a companion class used in titan quests with a fully grown dragon.
The armor may be upgraded for 20,000 to a Color Custom variant. Another upgrade, for the same price, may yet be purchased in Evolved DragonLord and, finally, its own Color Custom variant. However, these armors are merely cosmetic variants that will enable Armor Customization.

Overview[]
Equipped by default with the DragonBlade, the DragonLord armor must be unlocked by completing the quest The DragonLord Armor and trained by completing Mad Skillz fourteen successive times. The skills would appear by alternating between the left and right sides. This first version (which received some damage buffs on October 4, 2007[2]) was marked by the presence of three skills:[3]
- DragonScale - Applies +80 Melee/Ranged to self for 1-3 turns (cost: 5 MP; 4 CD; text: "+80 Melee and Range Def: 1-3 turns").
- Elemental Align - Applies +50 All res. to self for 3 turns (10 MP; 4 CD; "+50 Resist to all elements: 3 turns").
- Energy Beam - 1 hit of 100% damage; applies 'Energy' (?% Magic Energy dmg.) to target for 6 turns (Energy ; 20 MP; 1 CD; "Uber Energy Beam").
With the class update on June 29, 2012,[4] these three skills were replaced by Darkness, Light, and Frost Dragon Spirit. Other abilities were renamed. Earth skill's effect was completely reworked to reduce damage, whereas Multi Attack became Energy Dragon Spirit. The appearance of the armor itself was updated as well, featuring new art.[5]
On June 25, 2021, upon the release of Book 3 Dragonsgrasp, DragonLord received a third major update, along with changes to its artifacts' effects, with modifier changes and skills being renamed once again. Amongst other changes, Energy Dragon Spirit was split in two: Dragon Breath (keeping the multi attack effect) and a new Energy Dragon Spirit skill that now debuffs the enemy. Rush became Dragon Claw, and was compressed with Dragon Bite—that is, the combo exists in one button—, with the class thus having 15 skills now.[6]
This class has four unique artifacts, each with different effects: Dragon's Patience (raises the armor's base damage with a stacking mechanic), Dragon's Rage (increases offensive power at the cost of defensive ability),[7] and their upgrades Dragon's Bulwark/Wrath (adds a widget that enables use of two types of charges so as to empower certain skills).[6]

Notes[]
- This class' eyes are attuned to the eye color of one's dragon.
- It is possible to defeat the Old Man Of The Mountain at a lower level than he is during the Mad Skillz quest, but he will not give the player the skill they earned.
- Fully training this class earns the player the DragonLord badge.
