Shadow Rogue is a cosmetic variant to the Rogue base class that can be obtained by spending 5 HeroPoints at the shop "HeroMart Classes" and buying the Shadow Rogue Armor inventory item.[1]
It is not base class locked, which means players who have chosen Warrior or Mage can purchase and use the Shadow Rogue class.[2] Unlike its Ancient counterpart, the item cannot be merged into another of a different class.[3]

This class' skill set and default weapon (Shadowdagger) are identical to those of Ancient Shadow Rogue. It is thus extremely similar to that of base Rogue, except for one thing: Shadow Rogue possesses the old version of the Tangle skill. It still inflicts -100 Flee resistance to targets for 19 turns, rather that decrease Health resistance as Rogue's currently does.
The class also has access to the artifacts Cloak Scrap (which affects the Final Blow skill, giving it a chance to steal a Health Potion) and Shadowheart Bracer. The bracer's passive effect adds 50% weapon damage to each hit, affecting its skills and regular attack.[4]
